Growing up with my father, Wade DeShaw, was an extraordinary experience shaped by unique beliefs and practices steeped in spirituality and healing. Wade, a devoted follower of Edgar Cayce, the renowned “Sleeping Prophet,” drew upon Cayce’s profound insights into holistic health, spirituality, and the interconnectedness of all existence. This laid the foundation for a home filled with warmth, compassion, and a deep sense of purpose.

My father embodied the values of holistic healing, intertwining them with his own practices that often felt magical to me. I watched as he used gentle touch and calming words to help others find solace, much like the practices endorsed by Cayce. He believed that true healing goes beyond the physical and requires nurturing the mind and spirit.

Influenced by visionary figures like Keith Reinhart, who explored the intersection of spirituality and science, and Nikola Tesla, celebrated for his innovative mind, Wade fostered an intense curiosity about the universe. Our conversations often drifted into realms of energy, the power of thought, and the potential within each individual to effect change.

In this environment, I learned to appreciate the interconnections of life, the significance of our thoughts, and the power we all have to influence our reality. My upbringing was not just about healing in the traditional sense, but about embracing the full spectrum of life’s mysteries—where science, spirituality, and human experience coexist in beautiful harmony. Each day was an exploration, and each lesson taught me that the heart’s intentions can wield incredible power. If you have specific inquiries about this fascinating blend of influences or what it means for my life, I’d be thrilled to delve deeper!

Explaining my ability to see colors around everything and perceive auras requires sensitivity and understanding. These are from lessons I’ve learned over my lifetime on dealing with what I call my gifts. One being Auras. I believe most people can see these things, or feel them, yet they never really understand them.

  1. Start with Personal Experience: Share your own journey. Explain how you discovered your ability to see auras and colors, detailing specific instances where this skill provided insights about individuals, animals, or environments. Personal anecdotes can help build connection and understanding.
  2. Use Analogies: Draw parallels to familiar concepts. For instance, describe your perception as akin to having heightened intuition or being able to sense emotional atmospheres, much like how some people can “read” a room’s vibe. This analogy helps ground your experience in a context that others can grasp.
  3. Emphasize Connection: Share your belief in the interconnectedness of all living beings and how everything resonates with its own unique energy. Explain that this energy can manifest as colors or auras, and that you feel these connections deeply. This perspective encourages others to see the broader implications of your gift.
  4. Discuss Balance and Healing: Make it clear that your ability serves a purpose. You have the capacity to identify areas of imbalance, which can be helpful in healing. Discuss how you approach this with discernment—understanding when to share your insights and when to allow others to come to their own realizations.
  5. Invite Open-Mindedness: Encourage a mindset that embraces various ways of perceiving reality. While not everyone may share your view, recognize that diverse perceptions can enrich understanding. This approach respects differing beliefs and fosters openness.
  6. Respect Boundaries: Clearly state that you honor people’s boundaries regarding their energy and personal space. By acknowledging their comfort levels, you show respect for their feelings and beliefs.
  7. Encourage Exploration: Invite others to explore their own feelings and perceptions. Please encourage them to tap into their intuition and investigate the energy around them. This self-exploration can lead to valuable insights and a deeper connection to their own energy experiences.

Ultimately, the goal is to share my unique perspective in a manner that is inviting and respectful, fostering a dialogue that allows others to engage with the idea without feeling pressured to adopt it entirely. This openness can lead to meaningful conversations and a greater understanding of the subtle energies that connect us all.

In conclusion, I now understand that the most significant influence on my life, living, love, and acceptance, came from my dad. He was a great dad to have; he spent time with us and showed us that we are whole and not to judge others. He had a stroke at the age of 47 and a massive heart attack and passed away at 50. He was born in 1920. In my short time with him, I will continue to share more experiences and lessons I have learned. In doing this, I become more in line with my belief system and the person I am, and I am not afraid to be me.
